If I had to select one single asset that's driven the success of my business, it's been the website developed by Link.As someone who has developed and advised websites for clients, I had pretty clear ideas about what I wanted my website to do when we sat down to discuss a whole new website for Schmooze. The challenge for Link was to incorporate all the network's facets, activities and opportunities in an accessible way, as well as attract new members and to encourage existing members to use regularly. I required some special features like a membership and subscriber database, a means for members to add their own events to the website. There was also a refreshing of my brand identity in there somewhere as well. I also wanted flexibility for the website - so it could evolve in the coming years (such as added 2.0 features) without the need for a rebuild in future years. So in short, it was a big ask! In response to these requirements, Link provided a website that has delivered all I had hoped for. It’s a site I'm proud to show clients and prospective sponsors, and has made the world of difference in the growth and credibility of Schmooze. It has also meant that my members can promote their expertise to each other in a professional, state of the art online environment- which in turn has generated loyalty. Link's attitude is one of 'can-do' and actively listening to their clients, providing suggestions to my communication challenges: they don't impose their house-style on you or push you in a direction you don't want to go.
