CGRIS. Brand new Statutory Authority with a brand new website - in under 10 days!

08.12.2009: CGRIS. Brand new Statutory Authority with a brand new website - in under 10 days!

Responding to unusually tight timeframes, not only in terms of the work itself but also in providing the quote, Link has recently completed design and development of a website to support and promote the work of the Government's new Statutory Authority tasked with coordinating indigenous initiatives in remote parts of Australia.

The Office of the Coordinator General for Remote Indigenous Services (CGRIS) required an information based site but with the flexibility and capacity to evolve into a forum for dialogue between indigenous communities and government.

Implementing phase one of a three phased approach, and meeting client specifications, Link designed and developed an online presence that considers cultural sensitivities, is somewhat informal and less bureaucratic in its design and navigation, and still meets government accessibility standards: all in under ten days.

Phases two and three will expand on the interactivity of the site's community map and see the delivery of an e-newsletter, plus blog and podcast modules.
