COMMUNITYWhether through the provision of pro bono services, donations or sponsorship, we consider it important to ensure a certain element of our work is directed at giving back to the community.Active Kids
Link has put forward $15,000 in studio time to develop the Active Kids website for the Children’s Physical Activity Foundation. In addition to providing a corporate website for the Foundation, when we heard about the Schools Challenge program we suggested, and volunteered to build, a site aimed at motivating kids to be active. Since we sit at our desks all day, it’s nice to think we can at least inspire others to get out and jump around every so often. A-League4Canberra
Link has developed the web site for the Canberra and Region bid for a team to compete in the national A- League Football competition. The site, which includes online registration capabilities for corporate and individual sign-up, is not the limit of Link's involvement in the bid, with Link Owner/Director, Jessica Salvage also an active member of the Bid Committee. All products and services have been provided at no charge and the relationship with the bid looks set to continue. ACT Down Syndrome Association
The ACT Down Syndrome Association recently sought a new website within a limited budget. Rather than reduce the functionality of the site, we decided to discount the entire project costs by 50%. We are continuing to work closely with the Association to help finalise completion of the site. As a result of this, Link’s Owner and Director Steven De Costa has become the Volunteer Web Master for the Association and will continue to work with them beyond project completion. |
