Project OverviewLink Digital was engaged by ByFriday to develop the ACT Office of the Small Business Commissioner’s (SBC) website based on design files provided by ByFriday. Link produced HTML templates and a Content Management System to allow maintenance of the site by the end client. Consulting ApproachLink consulted with ByFriday and SBC staff to determine the most appropriate solution for the website. Link guided ByFriday to produce a design layout that would work for web as well as meet the SBC’s needs. Link developed website templates to comply with Government required accessibility standards. Development SolutionA Content Management System (CMS) supports the entire site and gives SBC staff the ability to add pages to and edit the structure of the entire site. The CMS allows SBC staff the ability to keep clients and interested business up to date with initiatives and ideas being lobbied or handled by the organisation. Successful OutcomeLink developed the SBC website on behalf on ByFriday to allow them to provide greater service offerings to the clients. SBC now liaise directly with Link for any support or maintenance required for the CMS, and continue to utilise ByFriday for their design work. |
